8.00 – 12.00 We will spend the whole morning (8.00 – 12.00) in prayer, worship and listening to God together in an uninterrupted way. Please come and go as you will, and as you need, and as quietly as possible so that an atmosphere of attentiveness to God can be sustained as best we can.

Service Guide Traditional Services - These are at 8am each Sunday (book of Common Prayer Communion) and 10:30am each Thursday (Common Worship Communion – traditional language)
Formal Services – These take place at 9:15am each Sunday, and are taken from Common Worship. The ministers leading the service are robed, and there is a robed Choir and a set order of service followed. The music tends to be well known hymns, both older and modern, accompanied by the organ. The Choir sometimes sing anthems or introits.
Informal Services – These take place at 11am. Those leading the service are not robed, and no set order of service is used. There are modern worship songs led by a band, and occasional hymns on the organ. On the 1st Sunday of each month there is Cafe Church in the Chapter House, where refreshments are served before and during the service, and the approach is ‘All Age’ i.e. there is no separate provision for children, but material suitable for them included in what we do. These informal services often have a strong visual component such as film clips, or other graphics. The words we use are provided on screen using PowerPoint.
Children from 4-11 are provided for in “All Sorts” on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month at the same time as the 11am service.
